Причастие настоящего времени (Present Participle)
Правила правописания
Для того чтобы образовать причастие настоящего времени, необходимо к инфинитиву глагола добавить окончание -ing.
go — going eat — eating
Если глагол оканчивается на букву е, то буква е не пишется.
have — having come — coming
Если глагол оканчивается на одну согласную, которой предшествует одна гласная, то конечная согласная удваивается.
get — getting sit — sitting

5. Olivia says, “Let’s write a story about pet cats!” Why? She has got a pet cat but the children are
writing a story about pet dogs.
6. “Don’t out your lunchboxes on the desks,” says the teacher. Why does she say so? The children are putting their lunchboxes on the desks. It’s not break time yet.
