Приведем выдержку из задания из учебника Вербицкая, Эббс, Уорелл 5 класс, Вентана-Граф:
Listening and reading
6 T22 Listen and circle the correct words.
Fifty years ago Sunfield was a small. There were about thirty shops, a post-office, a school, a cinema, a railway station and a church. About 5,000 people lived here in houses on the two main roads. There were fields all round the town.
Twenty years ago they built the radio factory to the east of the town, then the new flats to the north. They closed the railway. Then they built more houses in the fields to the south. They needed bigger roads so they built roads all round the town. They closed the cinema and made it into a supermarket.
Ten years ago they built there a computer factory and more offices, flats and shops.
Now there are about 15,000 people living in unfield.
Is your town or village the same as it was fifty years ago? What has changed? Find out and answer the questions. (Твой город или посёлок остался таким же, каким он был 50 лет назад? Что изменилось? Узнай и ответь на вопросы.)

Текст аудирования:
Zoe is talking to her grandfather about Sunfield, the town where they live.
Zoe: What was Sunfield like when you were a boy, Grandpa?
Grandfather: Fifty years ago, Sunfield was a small town. There were about thirty shops, a post office, a school, a cinema, a railway station and a church. About 5,000 people lived here in houses on the two main roads. There were fields all round the town.
Zoe: When did it start to change?
Grandfather: Twenty years ago they built the radio factory to the east of the town, then the new flats to the north.
Zoe: What happened to the railway?
Grandfather: Oh, they closed the railway. Then they built more houses in the fields to the south. They needed bigger roads so they built roads all around the town. They closed the cinema and made it into a supermarket. Ten years ago they built the computer factory and more offices, flats and shops. Now there are about 15,000 people living in Sunfield.
