Мой город - Ист-Шин

Я живу в Ист-Шине, недалеко от Лондона. В Ист-Шине много магазинов. На Главной улице есть два банка, Lloyds и Barclays, и почтовое отделение. Здесь есть два супермаркета, Waitrose и Tesco, а также множество магазинов, включая книжный магазин, аптеку Boots, спортивный магазин, магазин канцелярских товаров и зоомагазин. В Sheen Lane есть библиотека, два газетных киоска, железнодорожный вокзал, четыре ресторана, два паба (The Railway и The Ship *) и музыкальный магазин. В Ист-Шине нет ни кинотеатров, ни универмагов, ни бассейна.

I live in Taganrog, it’s Rostov region. There are a lot of shops in my town. There are some banks, shopping malls, cafes and restaurants. There are a lot of supermarkets.

For many people Taganrog is associated with the name of a famous writer Anton Chekhov.

There are a lot of places connected with this great person. Chekhov’s house, The Chekhov’s shop and the city library.

Я живу в Таганроге, это Ростовская область. В моём городе много магазинов. Здесь есть несколько банков, торговых центров, кафе и ресторанов. Здесь очень много супермаркетов.

Для многих людей Таганрог ассоциируется с именем известного писателя Антона Чехова.

Есть много мест, связанных с этим великим человеком. Дом Чехова, магазин Чехова и городская библиотека.

I live in Ulyanovsk. It’s not a big city in the Volga region.

There are a lot of department stores, banks, chemist’s.

The biggest shopping centre is Aquamall.

The main streets are Goncharova and Dvorcovaya. There are two big shopping centres, a lot of pubs and cafes, several supermarkets, and a central bank.

There is also an old cinema, but it’s not a popular place nowadays.

I like the centre of the city because of the beautiful old buildings and squares.

It's a great place to walk.

Я живу в Ульяновске. Это небольшой город в Поволжье.

Здесь много универмагов, банков, аптек.

Самый большой торговый центр - Аквамолл.

Главные улицы - Гончарова и Дворцовая. Есть два больших торговых центра, множество пабов и кафе, несколько супермаркетов и центральный банк.

Есть еще старый кинотеатр, но сейчас это не популярное место.

Мне нравится центр города из-за красивых старинных зданий и площадей.

Это отличное место для прогулок.

There are two supermarkets, Waitrose and Tesco and a lot of shops including a bookshop, Boots the chemist’s, a sports shop, a stationery shop and a pet shop. In Sheen Lane there is a library, two newsagent’s, a railway station, four restaurants, two pubs (The Railway and The Ship*) and a music shop. There aren’t any cinemas or department stores in East Sheen and there isn’t a swimming pool, either.
