1. Манчестер – один из крупнейших городов Англии. Он расположен на северо-западе страны. Манчестер – большой промышленный город, но известен он еще и своими университетами, и всемирно известными музеями, театрами и художественными галереями. Зеленые парки и красивые скверы. В городе очень популярен футбол. Здесь находится самый богатый футбольный клуб мира — «Манчестер Юнайтед».

2. Оксфорд – симпатичный городок недалеко от Лондона. В городе находится один из старейших и лучших университетов мира — Оксфордский университет. Туда приезжают учиться молодые люди из разных стран. Оксфорд также знаменит своими многочисленными музеями. Один из них – самый старый музей в мире. Он был открыт в 1683 году.

3. Стратфорд на Эйвоне – небольшой городок в центре Англии, пользуется большой популярностью у туристов. Это город, где родился Уильям Шекспир, величайший английский поэт и драматург. В городе Стратфорд на Эйвоне есть три знаменитых театра. Один из них — Королевский Шекспировский театр – один из крупнейших в Великобритании.

4. Брайтон – прекрасный приморский город, расположенный на южном побережье Англии. Благодаря солнечной летней погоде город становится популярным местом для отдыха. В Брайтоне много языковых школ. Люди из разных стран приезжают туда изучать английский. В этом городе также проводятся различные международные конференции и выставки.

Manchester is a great industrial city, but it is also known for its university and world famous museums, theatres and art galleries. Green parks and nice squares. Football is very popular in the city. It is home to the world’s richest football club — Manchester United.

2 Oxford is a nice tow n not far from London. The town is home to one of the oldest and the best universities in the world — Oxford University. Young people from different countries come to study there. Oxford is also famous for its various museums. One of them is the oldest museum in the world. It was opened in 1683.

3 Stratford-upon-Avon, a small town in the middle of England, is very popular with tourists. It’s the town where William Shakespeare, the greatest English poet and playwright, was born. There are three famous theatres in Stratford-upon-Avon. One of them — the Royal Shakespeare Theatre is one of the biggest in Great Britain.

4 Brighton is a lovely seaside city which is located on the south coast of England. Sunny summer weather makes the city a popular place for holidays. There are many language schools in Brighton. People from different countries come there to study English. The city is also used for different international conferences and exhibitions.
