Она гордится своим городом, потому что он славится своей историей, древним замком, старым собором и историческими зданиями. Но Кейт считает, что ее город — это и современный город. В нем есть много мест, куда можно пойти. Она часто ходит в красивый концертный зал.

Туда часто приезжают популярные музыканты, а также поп- и рок-группы. Еще одно интересное место для молодежи — большой торговый центр.

В нем есть кинотеатр и различные клубы. В городе также есть три спортивных центра и большой новый стадион. Маленькие дети, подростки и взрослые могут там плавать, бегать, прыгать, заниматься аэробикой и играть в футбол, гандбол, волейбол и баскетбол.

Кейт счастлива в своем городе и не хочет его покидать. В будущем она собирается стать известным садовым дизайнером.

My British pen friend Kate lives in a small peaceful town which is situated not far from London. She is proud of her town because it is famous for its history, ancient castle, old cathedral and historical buildings. But Kate thinks her town is a modern one, too. There are lots of places you can go to. She often goes to a nice concert hall.

Popular musicians and pop and rock groups often come there. Another interesting place for young people is the big shopping centre.

It has a cinema and different clubs. There are also three sports centres and a big new stadium in the town. Little children, teenagers and adults can swim, run, jump, do aerobics and play games like football, handball, volleyball and basketball there.

Kate is happy in her town and doesntaskt want to leave it. She is going to be a well-known garden designer in future.
