There are a lot of zoos in Britain. Banham Zoo is one of the most famous and largest zoos. It is situated in eastern England. The Zoo is not old, it welcomed its first guests in 1968.

You can see plenty of animals, reptiles, birds and insects there. In fact, there are more than 135 kinds of animals in the Zoo. Some of the animals belong to the rarest species on the planet.

Banham Zoo is open 7 days a week from 9.30 am. People come here for the whole day because the Zoo has amazing children’s areas and lovely places for picnics. In Banham Zoo, visitors can watch the wildlife, too. It’s home to endangered animals from all over the world.
