Билл: Не могла бы ты завтра отдать эту книгу Джону? Я не пойду завтра в школу.

Джейн: Хорошо, но я не знаю Джона. Какая у него форма?

Билл: Ты его знаешь, мы вместе учимся.

Джейн: О, правда? Он высокий?

Билл: Да, он высокий мальчик с длинными темными волосами. Сильный и выглядит как спортсмен.

Джейн: Хорошо, я попытаюсь найти его.

Билл: Спасибо.

Решение #

1) и 2) Они отличаются тем, когда идет какая реплика. Где-то обещание идет в начале, а где-то – в конце. Для этой ситуации подходит второй вариант, потому что сестра Билла не уверена, что знает друга брата, а для этого ей нужна информация.

Bill: Jane, can you do me a favour, please?

Jane: Yes. What?

Bill: Can you give this book to John tomorrow? I’m not going to school tomorrow.

Jane: OK, I’ll give him this book, but I don’t know John. What form is he in?

Bill: You know him, we study together.

Jane: Oh, really? Is he tall?

Bill: Yes, he’s a tall boy with long dark hair. He’s strong and looks like an athlete.

Jane: OK.

Bill: Thanks.
