Красная Земля - это фестиваль коренных американцев в Оклахоме, США. Существует более ста различных племен коренных американцев, в том числе апачи, чероки и сиу. Каждый год, в июне, тысячи семей празднуют свои традиции вместе на Красной Земле.

Матери и дочери

Фестиваль Красной Земли также получил шествие по улицам Оклахомы. Брат Айты Лен в принимает участие в шествии со своими друзьями. У них есть инструменты, которые называются трещотками и водяными барабанами. Это фантастический день!

A Native American Festival

Red Earth is a Native American festival in Oklahoma, USA. There are more than a hundred different tribes of Native Americans, including the Apache, Cherokee and Sioux. Every year, in June, thousands of families celebrate their traditions together at Red Earth.

Mothers and Daughters

The Festival has got a special activity for mothers and their daughters: the Mother and Daughter dance competition. Ayita and Dyani are very good at dancing - theytaskve got three prizes in the competition. Ayita hasntaskt got any sisters, so she and her mum are in the competition every year. Theytaskve got special costumes with colourful feathers.

A Musical Procession

The Red Earth Festival has also got a procession through the streets of Oklahoma. Ayitatasks brother Len is in the procession with his friends. Theytaskve got instruments called rattles and water drums. Ittasks a fantastic day!
