An interesting festival

Maslenitsa is a Christian holiday and a pagan holiday. People celebrate Maslenitsa in all parts of Russia. They celebrate the end of winter.

During Maslenitsa week people eat pancakes with cheese, butter or jam, and they drink milk. People have parties with singing and dancing. Children play and have fun.
