1. Утром было сухо, солнечно и очень жарко. В полдень стало ветрено и пасмурно, и начался шторм. Вскоре дождь прекратился, солнце вышло из-за облаков, и люди увидели красивую разноцветную радугу в ярко-голубом небе.

2. День был противным. С утра до ночи шел дождь, а вечер был туманным и холодным. На улицах было много воды, а проселочные дороги были очень грязными. Ночь была ветреная и очень холодная, и люди не выходили. Они оставались дома, где было тепло и уютно.

3. Это был самый красивый день, о котором вы можете подумать. Было тепло и солнечно. Деревья были ярко-зелеными и на яблонях были маленькие розовые цветы. Оживленные пчелы летали вокруг них, и маленькие новорожденные ягнята бежали и прыгали под деревьями.

4. Ночь была холодная, и на ясном небе были звезды. Но утром ветер начал дуть с запада и принес тяжелые серые облака. День был снежным, и к вечеру было так много снега, что дети вышли на улицы и начали бросать снежки и делать снеговиков в садах.

B. How much do you know about these holidays?

Текст аудирования:

1. In the morning it was dry, sunny and very hot. At midday it became windy and cloudy and a storm began. Soon the rain stopped, the sun came out from behind the clouds and people saw a beautiful multi-coloured rainbow in the bright blue sky.

2. The day was nasty. It was raining from morning to night and the evening was foggy and cold. There was a lot of water in the streets and the country roads were very muddy. The night was windy and very cold and people didn’t go out. They stayed at home where it was warm and cosy.

3. It was the most beautiful day you can think of. It was warm and sunny. The trees were bright green and there were little pink flowers on the apple trees. The busy bees were flying around them and little newborn lambs were running and jumping under the trees.

4. The night was cold and there were stars in the clear sky. But in the morning the wind began blowing from the west and brought heavy grey clouds. The afternoon was snowy and by evening there was so much snow that children came out into the streets and began throwing snowballs and making snowmen in the gardens.
