В прошлом декабре 10 учеников из моего класса ездили в Лондон. Мы хотели отметить Рождество в Англии. Мы приехали туда 23 декабря. Это была суббота. Мы остановились в большом отеле в центре Лондона. В воскресное утро мы решили сходить на Трафальгарскую площадь. Это был рождественский вечер. В холле отеля была огромная Рождественская елка, обвешенная огнями, флагами, звездами и игрушками.

Мы покинули отель в 10 часов утра. Погода была хорошей. Небо - синим. В небе не было облаков. Было солнечно и тепло, на улицах не было снега. Мы не могли поверить. Никакого снега в декабре. На улицах было много людей. В руках у них были сумки с подарками. Они готовились к Рождеству. Мы гуляли по Лондону два часа, купили несколько сувениров и рождественских открыток. Мы решили написать нашим семьям, посылая им любовь.

25 декабря мы отмечали Рождество. Был замечательный ужин из индейки с овощами. После этого мы посмотрели по ТВ Королеву Елизавету 2. Вечером была вечеринка. Мы танцевали, пели, играли в игры и дарили друг другу подарки. Мне подарили «Книгу Британии». Мы замечательно провели время.

Last December ten pupils of my class went to London. We wanted to celebrate Christmas in England. We came to London on the 23rd of December. It was Saturday. We stayed at a big hotel in the centre of London. On Sunday morning we decided to go to Trafalgar Square. It was Christmas Eve. In the hotel hall there was a big Christmas tree with a lot of lights, flags, stars and toys.

We left the hotel at ten o’clock in the morning. The weather was fine. The sky was blue. There were no clouds in the sky. It was sunny and warm and there was no snow in the streets. We couldn’t believe it. No snow in December. There were many people in the streets. They had bags with presents. They were preparing for Christmas. We walked in London for two hours, we bought some souvenirs, and Christmas postcards. We decided to write to our families and send them our love.

On the 25th of December we were celebrating Christmas. We had a wonderful lunch of turkey and vegetables. After lunch we watched television and listened to Queen Elizabeth on TV. In the evening we had a party. We danced, sang and played games and gave presents to each other. I got a “Book of Britain” as a Christmas present. We had a wonderful time.
