In my family we usually celebrate New Year in a very happy situation. We decorate our house, and I’m always the first, who wants to decorate a New Year tree. My mother prepares presents for our friends and relatives, sends e-mails and writes greeting cards. We usually stay at home to celebrate this day round a big table, we watch TV and President’s congratulations, wish each other Happy New Year and go out to watch a firework. After that we call our friend and neighbours to wish them a good year too.

В моей семье мы обычно отмечаем Новый Год в очень счастливой обстановке. Мы украшаем наш дом, и я всегда первый, то хочет наряжать новогоднюю елку. Моя мама готовит подарки для наших друзей и родственников, отправляет е-мейлы и поздравительные открытки. Мы обычно остаемся дома, собираемся за круглым столом, чтобы отпраздновать этот день, смотрим ТВ и поздравление Президента, желаем друг другу счастливого Нового Года и выходим смотреть салют. После этого мы звоним нашим друзьям и соседям, чтобы пожелать им хорошего года.
