82. Скажите, что вы думаете о преимуществах и недостатках общения по телефону.
Используйте:
a) to communicate with my friends (общаться с моими друзьями), to relax (расслабиться), to receive important (useful) information (получать важную/полезную информацию), to gossip (сплетничать) to phone for an ambulance (police) (звонить по телефону в скорую/полицию), to send and receive fax messages or e-mail (отправлять и получать сообщения факс или электронную почту), to use the Internet (использовать Интернет), to be a good friend for disabled and lonely people (быть хорошим другом для инвалидов и больных людей), etc (и т.д.);
b) waste of time (тратить время), to have no time to do homework (to read, to help parents, to do sports, to visit friends and relatives) (не иметь время сделать домашнюю работу) (читать, помогать родителям, заниматься спортом, навещать друзей и родственников), can’t see the eyes of the person you’re speaking to (не может видеть глаз человека, с которым вы говорите), etc (и т.д.).
Решение #
a) Advantages of talking on the phone:
- I can communicate with my friends when I need it and call my relatives who live far away
- It helps me relax and get rid of unnecessary problems
- Sometimes, when I talk on the phone, I learn a lot of new things and receive important information
- It's very nice to have a little chat with a friend and gossip about something
- Mobile phone is necessary when you are running late or in emergency so as to phone for an ambulance or police
- We use mobile phone for sending and receiving fax messages or e-mail
- In order to call someone you do not need to use the Internet and have the Internet connection established
- Talking on the phone allows you to be a good friend for disabled and lonely people who are in great need of outside participation and support
Преимущества разговоров по телефону:
- Я могу общаться с друзьями, когда мне это нужно, и звонить своим родственникам, которые живут далеко
- Это помогает мне расслабиться и избавиться от ненужных проблем
- Иногда, когда я разговариваю по телефону, я узнаю много нового и получаю важную информацию
- Очень приятно немного пообщаться с другом и посплетничать о чем-то
- Мобильный телефон необходим, когда вы опаздываете или в чрезвычайной ситуации, чтобы позвонить в скорую или полицию
- Мы используем мобильный телефон для отправки и получения сообщений по факсу или электронной почте

b) Disadvantages of talking on the phone:
- Talking on the phone may be a waste of time because lots of people use mobile phones for unnecessary and silly chats
- Children immerse themselves in the virtual world and have no time to do homework, read books, help parents, do sports and visit friends and relatives
- Mobile calls are very annoying to others
- Talking on the phone doesn't let interlocutors see the eyes, gestures and facial expressions of each other. Unfortunately, it becomes more important than face-to-face conversations.
Недостатки разговоров по телефону:
- Общение по телефону может быть пустой тратой времени, потому что многие люди используют мобильные телефоны для ненужных и глупых разговоров
- Дети погружаются в виртуальный мир и у них отсутствует время, чтобы делать домашнее задание, читать книги, помогать родителям, заниматься спортом и посещать друзей и родственников
- Мобильные звонки очень раздражают окружающих
- Разговор по телефону не позволяет собеседникам видеть глаза, жесты и мимику друг друга. К сожалению, это становится более важным, чем личные беседы
