16-year-old Jools has travelled from one place to another with her Jazz playing father. Not long after her arrival in this town she meets Nick, a handsome green-eyed young man, who seems keen to take care of her. Also in town there is a serial killer who preys on young girls.

It’s a good book if you’re not familiar with horror and don’t want your first book to be too scary.

Tansy and her friends are keen gamers. Travis is Tansy’s boyfriend and has bought a new game for the friends to try. He thinks it will be great to play the game in a haunted house as the game is all about the spirit world. The night arrives and the six teenagers all gather in the deserted mansion. The setting is perfect — a storm begins outside. It’s not long before spooky things start to happen to the group … This is easy to read, but the horror element is quite predictable and a little disappointing.
