Many people who watch the Samurai films appreciate the similarities they have with the traditional Western films. What many people do not realize is how much they have really in common. The cinema of Japan was as enthusiastic about the Samurai as the cinema of America was with cowboys. Both genres were very similar. In one of them main characters used swords, in the other they used guns, both rode horses. But you will never mix them up.

Here are some facts about Daniel Radcliffe. His full name is Daniel Jacob Radcliffe. He is best known for his role as the wizard Harry Potter. Born in London in 1989, he first expressed a desire to act at the age of five. In December 1999 he made his acting debut in the BBC’s television version of the Charles Dickens’s novel David Copperfield. He played the lead role. In August 2000, he was chosen for his most prominent role — Harry Potter.

Superhero movies have always been the public favourite. It seems true that many people enjoy watching films based on superheroes, regardless of age. These heroes are often violent, they defeat their enemies killing and torturing them. Thus children viewers, who are often too young, are exposed to violence and take superheroes as their role models. Scientific researches show that children who are exposed to violence at a young age have more chances to getting into fights at school. In fact, such films are the first step to children’s violent behaviour.

He was born into a working class family and spent his young years in the neighbourhood of Edinburgh. At that time nothing gave any identification of his success. He spent much of his youth working here and there. After three years of naval service he returned to his native city where he worked as a bricklayer, lifeguard and coffin polisher. He began his theatrical career playing small parts and modelling. From this modest beginning he has become an international film icon.
