I live in Moscow. It is the capital and the largest city in Russia. It was founded in 1147 on the bank of the River Moskva and soon it became the capital of Russia. It is very populated and the streets are crowded. The population of Moscow is about 10 million people.

Moscow is in constant movement. People rush in all directions and there are a lot of cars. Traffic jams are common. So there are some things I don’t like but at the same time Moscow is a very beautiful city. There are many old buildings and streets which tell you its history. There is no city in the world which has such architecture. There are more than 80 museums, 100 parks and gardens. In the evenings you can visit one of 200 theatres of Moscow, where you can see opera or ballet. There is an entertainment not only for adults, but also for children. Children can enjoy themselves in Moscow Zoo or the Gorky Park.

Moscow is the heart of Russia and I think it is the essence of Russian character and mood.
