Clothes are very important to British teenagers. Many love to shop for the latest fashions. When teenagers are relaxing at home or out meeting with their friends, they wear casual' clothes like jeans, pants, sweaters, turtlenecks, or tracksuits. Special clothes for different seasons include heavy coats and jackets for cold windy weather and raincoats and umbrellas for rainy weather. Footwear can be from Nike shoes or Adidas to leather shoes.

Girls also wear anything from shoes to very fashionable boots and shoes with heels or without. When they are at school, most children have to wear a uniform. Britain is a multicultural state and in certain cities one can find young people wearing ethnic clothes.
