Kirsty: Ha ha, well, that’s a great answer ... Now, who’s next? Who wants Doctor Freude to explain their dream? Yes ... Helen?
Helen; Well, 1 had a really strange dream. I dreamt I was taking an exam ... I was sitting in a large room, well, an enormous room, really, with hundreds of other people. I didn’t know any of them ... All the questions were in a foreign language and I couldn’t understand them. And my pencil kept on breaking. It was horrible. But the strange thing is ... I’m 38! I left school 20 years ago. So why was I dreaming about exams?
Dr Freude: This dream suggests that you were recently facing a big challenge, but you weren’t feeling very confident about it. Perhaps you were feeling guilty that you were not working hard enough. You were also worried that people were feeling disappointed in you. Perhaps you have a new job?
Helen: Yes, that’s right, doctor.
Jane: My name’s Jane. I remember one really unforgettable dream. I had it just after I finished school. I was flying really high up. There was a town, a river, some mountains. Everything below looked really beautiful. It was a bit strange because I’m scared of flying. I flew in an aeroplane once and I didn’t like it at all.
Dr Freude: This dream is a very common one, and basically it’s all about freedom. Perhaps you had to make an important choice about your future and you were feeling optimistic about it.
Tim: One time I dreamt that I was in a strange room.
It had a bed and a table ... but nothing else, like a hotel room, you know. I was just sitting in this room ... it seemed to be for a long time. Finally I tried to open the door, but I couldn’t. I was shouting ... asking for somebody to open the door. I felt scared. And then I woke up.
Dr Freude: Well, Tim, this dream suggests that you were feeling trapped. Perhaps you were in a new situation in your life, but you didn’t like what was happening to you.
Tim: That’s right. I was going out with a girl. I didn’t love her, but I didn’t know how to end it.
Kirsty: And that’s all we have time for. It you have any questions or if you want to appear on the show, call this number, and remember...

Re: Cheese in a Tube TV commercial f Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to complain about the TV commercial for your product Cheese in a Tube. In my opinion, there is some false information in the commercial, and it also encourages children to adopt bad eating habits.
In the commercial, there is a popular TV cartoon character who says that Cheese in a Tube is ‘the best cheese in the world’. This is obviously not true. However, I have two young children who love the cartoon character in the commercial. So now they believe that your cheese is the best in the world and they don’t want any other kind.
The cartoon character then says that Cheese in a Tube is ‘good for young kids’. Well, I checked the information on the packet. There certainly isn’t very much cheese in your product – only 5 % - and it has more calories and fat than chocolate! It’s probably one of the unhealthiest things you can buy in the supermarket. Child obesity is a huge problem in our country. Our children are the fattest and unhealthiest in the world, and products like yours just make things worse.
Finally, the commercial ends with two beautiful, slim, healthy-looking children sitting in front of the TV. Their mother calls them to come to the kitchen to eat ^ a nutritious salad. The children say they’re watching their favourite cartoon – the same character who is in the commercial, of course – so what does the mother do? She brings each of them some Cheese in a Tube. The parents eat their salad in the kitchen while the children suck their lunch from a tube in front of the TV! I believe that its good for children and parents to eat together, but obviously your company doesn’t.
Please change this terrible commercial. And why don’t you start making healthier food too?
Yours sincerely,
Maddy Moore
