Present Perfect
We use the Present Perfect to talk about situations that began in the past and continue now.
We often use since to say when the situation started or for to say how long this situation has been true.
We’ve lived here since 1956.
We’ve lived here for fifty years.
Mind, the trap!
We don’t use the Present Simple Tense with for and since to talk about situations that began in the past and continue to the present.
I’ve lived here for four years. NOT Hive here for four years.

Текст аудирования:
1. Boy: Well ... for starters, she really irritates me when she spends so long in the bathroom — she’s very unfair, especially when she lies in bed all morning and I have to go to school so early. Luckily she just ignores me a lot of the time - shetasks too busy with her boyfriend usually. Ittasks sad really because when we were younger, I used to get on with her really well. In fact, she was probably my best friend.
2 Girl: We have a brilliant relationship. She’s so easy to talk to and she always helps me when I’ve got a problem. She’s got a great sense of humor as well — she makes me laugh. And she gives me a lot of freedom, too. I’m very lucky, I suppose.
3. Man: When we first started to go out together, we used to argue quite often. But now I think she trusts me and we have a really good relationship. We have a lot in common so that helps. The only problem is that she changes her mind a lot - it can be very annoying sometimes.
4 In pairs, talk about one of your relationships. Use these expressions and the phrasal verbs from Exercise 1. Guess who your partner is talking about.

A I get on really well with him.
В Is it your brother?
A No, it isn’t ... He gives me a lot of freedom ...
