Текст аудирования:
Narrator: This is Kelly who is going to talk to us about changes in her relationships over the last five years.
Kelly: Hi. Well, five years ago I was 14. I was very close to my Mum and Dad. My brother, Pete, was 17 and we were close too. He looked after me and took me to concerts with his friends. Claire was my best friend. We’ve known each other since we were five, James was my first boyfriend. Not really a boyfriend, but we sort of went out together for a few months. Now, I’m still close to my Mum, but Dad and I have had a lot of arguments and we dontaskt really get on. Most of the arguments are about David, my boyfriend. He left school when he was 16 and he hasn’t worked since then. Dad thinks it’s terrible, but David’s an artist and
he’s been busy painting and drawing. One day he’s going to be famous! I don’t see Pete much. He went to university and he hasn’t lived at home for four years. He hasn’t finished his studies yet and is always busy. Claire and I fell out two years ago. It was terrible — she met a boy and I told her he wasn’t good for her and we haven’t spoken to each other since. Sue’s my best friend now. I’ve known her for three years. She’s great. And James — I’ve no idea. After we split up, I never really saw him again. I don’t know what he’s doing now.

WRITING
19 Read an extract from a letter from your English-speaking pen-friend Monica. Write a letter to Monica and answer her questions. You must write 90-110 words. Remember the rules of letter writing.
... You know, I’ve fallen out with my best friend. We’ve been friends for many years. Now we are not talking to each other anymore. And all this because of Kevin who first dated me and then Kate. Now he’s going out with another girl from our class.
I miss Kate and I need your advice. Do you think I should speak to her? Have you ever quarrelled with your friend over something serious? How did you sort it out? ...
