Разумеется, Джэн увязалась за мной, когда я приготовился пойти к доктору Беллингаму. Она сказала, что уже сделала много для расследования. К тому же, Глидокам является сильнейшим препаратом для улучшения процессов памяти. Хорошо, хорошо… всегда проще согласиться с моей сестрой. В любом случае, так менее скучно идти, хотя, я устал от ее «почему» и «зачем» к тому времени как мы дошли до кабинета врача. Доктор Беллингам дал нам книгу, одну из тех дурацких любовных историй, и когда я ее взял, я заметил что-то наподобие закладки внутри. Но это была не закладка – это было что-то вроде странного текста, который напомнил мне о пиратских историях, которые, я, бывало, читал в детстве.

Самой удивительной вещью в тексте было то, что оно было написано рукой бабушки! Все это становилось все более и более интересным.

Needless to say, Jan tagged along with me when I was ready to go to see Doctor Bellingham. She said that she had already done a lot for the investigation. By the way, Glydocalm appeared to be a strong medicine for improving your memory processes. OK, OK... it is always easier to agree with my sis. Anyway it made the walk less boring, though I was tired of her "whytasks" and "whattasks" by the time we reached the doctortasks surgery. Dr Bellingham gave us the book, some of those stupid love stories, and when I took it I noticed something like a bookmark inside. But it was not a bookmark — it was a kind of a strange text, which reminded me of the pirate stories I used to read in my childhood.

The most amazing thing about that text was that it was written in grannytasks handwriting! This whole thing was getting more and more interesting.
