Большой театр – один из самых больших и самых зрелищным театров в мире – известный во всех частях мира, как дом выдающихся ансамблей артистов большого театра оперы и балета.

Располагающийся рядом с красной площадью в Москве, Большой театр был построен в 1824 году. Свыше 2,000 человек могут сидеть в этом великолепном театре на красных вельветовых сидениях, под искусными светильниками и красивыми золотистыми декорациями. Просто невозможно не восхищаться посещением невероятного Большого Театра – и это даже до того, как представление началось!

За время своей длинной истории, театр видел представления некоторых самых известных русских художников, и некоторых всемирно любимых композиторов. Он также пережил несколько тяжелых моментов: три пожара, строительство московского метро под ним и бомбежки во время войны.

Over 2,000 people can sit inside this magnificent theatre on red velvet seats, underneath elaborate lights and beautiful gold decorations. It is simply impossible not to be amazed by a vislt to the incredibte Bolshoi Theatre - and thattasks before a performance has even begun!

During its Iong history, the theatre has seen performances by some of Russia’s most famous artists and by some of the worldtasks best-loved composers. It has also survived some tough moments: three fires, the construction of the Moscow metro ine undemeath it and bombing during the war.

In 2005, engineers announced that the Bolshhoi Theatre was extremety unstabte and that it could fall down at any time. So that same summer, the theatre was closed and repair work began at great cost. Currently, the reconstruction of the Bolshoi Theatre is expected to be compteted around 2011.
