I wish I could take it all away and skip these years for you

Being a teen is so very hard, it really isn’t fair

To go through all of this and still feel like no one is there

You don’t have to tell me how you feel, I see it every day

Like nothing you ever do is good enough, or you’re just in the way

If you could see through my eyes, how confident and true

You becoming a young woman, but still somewhat a youth

I can’t make this feeling go away, I can’t fix all of your tears

But I can tell you that I know, the feelings and the fears.

If you ask me how I know, all that you are going through

I will answer simply I know this all because... I have been there too.

Я вижу боль в твоих глазах и чувствую, как ты это делаешь

Мне жаль, что я не смогу все это убрать и отдать эти годы тебе

Быть подростком так сложно, это действительно нечестно

Пройти все это и по-прежнему чувствовать, что никого нет рядом

Вы не должны говорить мне, как вы себя чувствуете, я вижу это каждый день

Всё, что вы делаете, достаточно, вы ещё пробуете жизнь,

Если бы вы могли видеть мои глаза, которые видят, как уверенно и верно

Ты становишься молодой женщиной, но все же

остаешься молодой

Я не могу заставить это чувство уйти, я не могу

высушить все твои срезы

Но я могу сказать тебе, что знаю, твои чувства и

страхи.

Если ты спросишь меня, как я могу знать, все, что ты переживаешь

Я отвечу просто, я знаю это все, потому что... Я тоже побывал там.
