Предотвращать или разрешать конфликт?

Мне не нравятся (1) ссоры и конфликты любого рода, и попытки

(2) избежать их. Тем не менее, дело в моем мирном характере, которой часто (3) приводит к конфликтам в семье. Дело в том, что они обвиняют меня во лжи. Но я никогда не вру. Я не говорю всю правду, а это не одно и то же.

Проще говоря, я не всегда информирую своих родителей ни обескураживающими результатами тестов или о желании моего учителя видеть мою маму или моего папу, как можно скорее. Это не потому, что я хочу (4) избежать наказания, а потому что я не хочу обидеть их чувства. Какая польза в глупом разговоре с моим учителем о моей неуспеваемости? Разве это не несправедливо по отношению к своим родителям, которые (5) заслуживают тихий вечер перед телевизором после долгого рабочего дня?

Что касается учителей, я стараюсь предотвратить любые конфликты с ними. Я говорю им, что мои родители очень заняты в настоящее время, но они очень волнуются о моих оценках (кто может сказать, что это ложь?!) и что они придут, как только у них будет немного больше времени.

Проблема в том, что рано или поздно они встретятся в любом случае. И тогда мне придется придумать новый способ (6) разрешения серьезного конфликта.

To Prevent or to Resolve a Conflict?

I dontaskt like (1) quarrelling and conflicts of any kind and try (2) to avoid them. However, ittasks my peaceful character which often (3) causes conflicts in my family. The thing is that they accuse (обвинять) me of telling lies. But I never tell lies. I dontaskt tell the whole truth, but ittasks not the same thing.

To put it frankly, I dontaskt always inform my parents of any discouraging test results or about my teacher s wish to see either my mum or dad as soon as possible. Ittasks not because I want (4) to escape punishment but because I dontaskt want to hurt their feelings. Whattasks the use in having a dull conversation with my teacher about my poor progress? Isn4 it unfair to my parents who (5) deserve a quiet evening in front of the TV set after a long working day?

As for the teachers, I try to prevent any conflicts with them too. I tell them that my parents are pretty busy at the moment, but they worry a lot about my grades (who can say that thattasks a lie?!) and will come as soon as they have a little more time.

The problem is that sooner or later theytaskll meet anyway. And then Itaskll have to invent a new method of (6) resolving a serious conflict.
