12 Write a descriptive essay about Davy, a character from the short story "The Last Inch" (see Ex. 69—70, pp. 84—86 in Student’s Book).

Davy, the main character from the short story “The Last Inch”, was … a young brave boy, who could land on the plane. He looked younger than his age with athletic figure. Davy was narrow-shouldered, with dark hair and grey eyes. Davy was very shy boy, who enjoyed reading and wanted to be a pilot like his father. He never give up the things he had to do even when he panicked in dangerous situations. He was scared to death, but he managed to control himself and to land on the plane. He just cried quietly because he understood that his father could die and that it depended on Davy if they both would be safe or not. But despite all that feelings, he had the courage to fly the plane and to land it. That's why I think that he was a very strong and courageous person, whom you can rely on in every situation.

Дэви, главный герой из рассказа «Последний дюйм», был... молодым храбрым мальчиком, который cмог приземлиться на самолете. Он выглядел моложе своего возраста с атлетической фигурой. Дэви был узкоплечий, с темными волосами и серыми глазами. Дэви был очень застенчивым мальчиком, которому нравилось читать, и хотел стать пилотом, как его отец. Он никогда не сдавался от того, что ему приходилось делать, даже когда он паниковал в опасных ситуациях. Он был напуган до смерти, но ему удалось контролировать себя и приземлиться на самолете. Он просто плакал тихо, потому что понял, что его отец может умереть и что он зависит от Дэви, будут ли они оба в безопасности или нет.
