1 a) Read the rubric and find the key words.

Your favourite magazine is asking for computer games reviews from its readers. Write a review of a favourite computer game of yours, including a description of the type of game and details about one or two features.

b) Read the model below. Which paragraph (1-3) includes: the writertasks recommendation? the features of the game? the name of the game? the writertasks opinions about the game? the type of game?

1 Fans of the football worldtasks virtual computer game, FIFA, can always look forward to the latest FIFA instalment of this popular franchise. However, I think that FIFA 16 (released in September 2015) is the best ever with new features that promise to make it the most realistic yet.

2 Available for a number of different platforms, this edition is a step up from its predecessor in several exciting ways. One of the biggest changes is the introduction of female players. To recreate the physical movements of a female athlete, motion-capture technology was used with some of the worldtasks best players. Because female footballers are more equally-matched, critics say the game-play must be more precise and creative. Another improvement comes in the gametasks focus on defence. Just as in real football, ittasks dangerous for a team to rely on one individual attacker. FIFA 16 can be tricky to learn, but that goes with the unpredictable nature of the sport.
