Presenter: [Southern English accent] ... and welcome back to the Chelsea Dog Show. The next category is Yorkshire Terrier. Let’s meet some of the contestants. Hello ... do you want to say a few words about yourself?
Woman: [mild Liverpool accent] Yes, I’m Deborah from Chester and this is my Yorkshire Terrier Trixie. Presenter: So, is Trixie going to win?
Woman: Oh, yes, I think it is certain that Trixie will win this year. I mean look at her — beautiful fur, bright eyes, her gorgeous red ribbon. Oh, you’re such a well-behaved little doggie, aren’t you?
Presenter: Well, the best of luck Deborah ... and Trixie! And who have we here?
Man: [Cockney accent] I’m Bill from Chelmsford and this is my little Rambo!
Presenter: And what are Rambo’s chances of winning do you think?
Man: To be honest, I think it is unlikely that he’ll win — there’s too much competition. But I’m just here for fun really. I’m not taking it too seriously ...
Presenter: Well, here come the judges now ... Well, the judges have now looked at all the dogs here and we’re waiting for them to give the results. How are you feeling now, Bill?
Man: Well, the judge seemed very, very impressed. I wasn’t confident before but actually ... now, I think the chances are that he’ll win it!
Presenter: Well, let’s wait and see. And what about Trixie? Deborah, are you still confident?
Woman: Well, everything started going well and then that nasty little dog next to us gave my poor Trixie a fright and she bit the judge. But she still might win, I mean she’s won here twice already.
Judge: [RP accent] Here are the winners in the category of Yorkshire Terrier. First prize goes to. Meany from Brighton!
