Текст аудирования:
Molly: Morning, Mum, Dad ... What’s for breakfast?
Mum: Good morning, Molly. Er ... what have you done to your school skirt, Molly?
Molly: Nothing.
Dad: Yes, you have — you’ve pulled it up! You can’t wear it like that — it’s too short. And please don’t wear it like that when Grandma’s here on Thursday — she’d be shocked!
Molly: It’s not fair — our school skirts are too long. They look really old-fashioned.
Mum: Yes, but it’s the uniform, so you haven’t got a choice.
Molly: It would be better if girls could wear trousers to school. They’re more comfortable and much easier to wear.
Mum: I agree with that. But you’re lucky — at least the rest of your uniform’s OK, isn’t it? — just a blue sweatshirt or T-shirt. When I was at school, we had to wear a blouse and a tie and they made us wear long white socks until we were sixteen! It was expensive and we looked ridiculous!
Dad: I thought you looked rather nice ...
Mum: Yes, but you’ve never had any fashion sense, have you?
Dad: Oh, I don’t know — I like to think I look rather stylish ...
Molly: What did you use to wear at school, Dad?
Dad: We dressed like our fathers, the uniform was like a suit really — grey wool trousers, a black jacket, shirt and tie. We couldn’t wear jeans or trainers, of course. We had to wear black shoes all year. And there were strict rules about things like the length of our hair.
Molly: Oh, lovely! I bet you looked great! I don’t see why we have to have uniforms anyway. It would be much easier if we could wear whatever we liked. Mum: No, I think you should wear a uniform — it makes everyone the same. I know you — if you didn’t have a uniform, it would be like a fashion show every morning.
Dad: Yes, your mother’s right — without a uniform you would take two hours to decide what to wear.
Molly: That’s so not true! You think I take a long time! What about Callum? He’s been in the bathroom for more than half an hour! He takes far longer than I do to get ready.
Mum: Good point. Where is that boy ... Callum! Get down here or you’ll be late for school!
