1 Loose (свободный)
Loose means baggy, not tight. Her clothes were loose because she had lost a lot of weight (Loose значит мешковатый, не плотный. Ее одежда была свободной, потому что она потеряла много веса).
2 weather (погода)
Whether means if. I'll just check and see whether it's raining (Whether значит "если (ли)". Я пойду, проверю и посмотрю дождливая ли сегодня погода).
3 effects (влияние)
Affects means influences (verb). Drought affects many people in Africa. (Affects означает воздействовать (глагол). От засухи страдают многие люди в Африке)
4 deserts (пустыня)
Desserts are sweets, cakes, puddings, etc. The restaurant had some delicious desserts to choose from. (Desserts - конфеты, пироги, пудинги, и т.д. В ресторане были восхитительные десерты на выбор)
