А. Россия – большая страна, для которой характеры различные чудеса природы. Она протягивается от берегов Тихого океана на востоке до берегов Балтийского моря на западе, от Арктического океана и холодных снежных территорий на севере до Черного моря на юге России.

В. На территории нашей страны расположены практически все климатические пояса. Также, ей свойственные разные территориальные зоны – широкие поля, засушливые необитаемые пустыни, великие леса и мощные реки, озера всех размеров, среди которых есть Байкал, самое глубокое озеро в мире.

С. На территории России есть низменности и горы. Уральские и Алтайские горы являются самыми высокими (кстати, Алтай — значит “золотая гора”). Уральские горы разделяют страну на европейскую и азиатскую части. Здесь вы можете увидеть солнечные пляжи и земли бесконечной зимы.

D. Страна очень большая, поэтому здесь много открытого пространства и красивых диких участков с уникальными видами дикой природы. Под дикой природой понимаются животные, птицы и растения, которые живут или растут в своей естественной среде обитания. Жители Российской Федерации, правительство страны стараются сохранять такие места. Сейчас в России более 40 природных заповедников. Большая их часть находится на западе, северо-западе и юге России. Старейшие из них – Лосиный Остров и Сочинский парк.

E. Согласно закону, природные заповедники являются охраняемыми территориями и акваториями, однако посещение под присмотром разрешено. Они открыты для того, чтобы люди ими наслаждались. Они также посвящены экологическому образованию и научным исследованиям. Зоны отдыха включают в себя озера и парки в городе и около него. Эти места популярны для плавания и прогулок на лодке летом, катания на коньках зимой и других занятий на природе.

A. Russia is a large country with many different natural wonders. It extends from the shores of the Pacific Ocean in the east to the shores of the Baltic Sea in the west; and from the Arctic Ocean and cold snowy northern territories to the Black Sea in the southern part of Russia.

B. Our country has almost every kind of weather. Also, it has many kinds of lands — wide plains and dry empty deserts, great forests and powerful rivers, lakes of all sizes, the Baikal, the deepest lake in the world among them.

C. There are lowlands and mountains on the territory of Russia too. The Urals and the Altai Mountains are the highest (by the way, Altai means “the Golden Mountain”). The Urals divide the country into its European and Asian parts. You can find sunny beaches and lands of endless winter on its territory.

D. The country is very big so there is still a lot of open space and beautiful wild areas with unique species of wildlife. By wildlife we understand animals, birds and plants that live or grow in their natural habitats. People of the Russian Federation, the government of the country are trying to save such places. There are now more than 40 national parks in Russia. The major part of them are situated on the western, southwestern territories and in the south of Russia. The oldest of them are LosinyOstrov and Sochinsky Park.

E. According to the law national parks are protected areas of land and water but regulated tourism is allowed. They are open for the public to enjoy. They are also devoted to ecological education and scientific research. Recreation areas include lakes and parks in and around cities. These places are popular for boating and swimming in summer, skiing in winter and other outdoor activities.
