Диктор 1

Киклады - группа греческих островов, расположенных в Эгейском море. Богатые солнечным светом и искрящимся морем с поразительно голубыми водами, они лежат к востоку от полуострова Пелопоннес и к юго-востоку от побережья Греции. Некоторые острова хорошо известны людям, другие остаются малоизвестными и редко интересуют туристов.

Киклады всегда производили сильное впечатление с древних времен, хотя до них всегда было трудно добраться. Это была родина одной из самых важных цивилизаций Средиземноморья. Эта цивилизация получила свое название от островов: кикладская цивилизация. Она существовала от трех тысяч до одной тысячи лет до Рождества Христова.

Геологи считают, что своеобразная форма Киклад сегодня обусловлена определенными геологическими процессами: землетрясениями, извержениями вулканов, движениями земли. Многие считают, что Затерянный континент Атлантида с его прекрасными городами затерялся где-то рядом с Кикладскими островами и сейчас находится на дне океана.

Несмотря на то, что все острова имеют общие черты — сверкающее море, солнце, ландшафт и простой стиль архитектуры без декора — каждый остров уникален и имеет свое лицо, которое посетители могут обнаружить, исследуя их один за другим.

Speaker 1

The Cyclades are a group of Greek islands situated in the Aegean Sea. Full of sunlight and sparkling sea with its strikingly blue waters they lie to the east of the Peloponnesus Peninsula and to the southeast of the coast of Greece. Some of the islands are well known to the public at large while others remain hardly known and rarely appear on the tourist scene.

Speaker 2

The Cyclades have always had a powerful charm since ancient times, even though it has always been difficult to get to them. This was the birthplace of one of the Mediterranean’s most important civilizations. This civilization took its name from the islands: the Cycladic civilization. It existed from three thousand up to one thousand years before Christ.

Speaker 3

Geologists think that the peculiar shape which the Cyclades have today is due to certain geological processes: earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, movements of the earth. Many people believe that the lost continent of Atlantis with its beautiful cities was lost somewhere near the Cyclades Islands and is now at the bottom of the ocean.

Speaker 4

In spite of the characteristics which all the islands have in common — the sparkling sea, the sun, the landscape and the architecture’s plain style without decoration — each island is unique and has its own face, which visitors can discover as they explore them one by one.

Speaker 5

The Cyclades Islands enjoy Mediterranean which are mild. The summers by Greek standard cool, thanks to the beneficial effects of winds. Average temperatures for the year are about 18-19 degrees above zero.
