1 In what style (informal, semi-formal, formal) would you write the following:
1 a letter to express sympathy to your cousin after they failed to achieve something informal.
2 an email apologising to your teacher for not doing something semi-formal.
3 a thank-you letter to a company for the quality of a service they provided formal.
4 an email congratulating a friend on an achievement informal.
2 Read the beginnings and endings of the letters/emails (A-D) below and match them to the letters/emails (1 - 4) in Ex. 1.
