Текст аудирования:
One
Student: Well, the photo at the top shows an accident at sea. It looks as if a boat has sunk or something like that. The photo below that shows a man - he looks like a learner driver - and he has had a car crash. The leaflet is about accidents at home. The newspaper headline is about accidents at school, and the table deals with dangerous jobs, so ittasks about accidents at work.
Two
Student: The leaflet could be from a government publication to tell people about the accidents they can have at home and how to avoid them. The newspaper headline indicates that there are more and more accidents taking place at school and it looks as if it comes from a tabloid newspaper - you know, it’s trying to be funny. The table shows a list of the most dangerous jobs in Britain, so it tells us the kinds of jobs where accidents are more likely to happen and we can see from this table that window cleaners have more accidents at work than anyone else.
6 T023 Study Speak Out. Then listen again and tick the expressions you hear.

7 T034 Listen and answer the questions.
1 What in the speakertasks opinion is the key to reducing the risk of accidents?
2 How does the student use the language from the question in her answer?
8 T034 Listen again and complete the sentences with expressions from Speak Out.
1 I think it depends on the place.
2 However, I believe that the risk of accidents can be reduced if people are trained well.
3 It says in the leaflet that most accidents take place at home and according to the newspaper headline the number of accidents at school is going up.
4 People who don’t got good training are more likely to have accidents. We can see an example of this in the table of dangerous jobs.
5 For example, in the picture on the right the man has had a car crash, but perhaps it wasn’t his fault.
6 In my opinion, the key to reducing the risk of accidents is to train people.
9 Work in pairs and answer the questions in Exercise 4. Use the advice and the language in Speak Out.
