Middle school (средняя школа) - 1. школа в Великобритании для детей в возрасте от 8 до 12 лет, после того, как они покидают начальную школу. 2. школа в США для детей в возрасте от 11 до 14 лет после того, как они покидают начальную школу.

High school (высшая школа) - 1. в Великобритании школа для детей в возрасте от 11 и 18. 2. в США школа для детей в возрасте от 14 до 18 лет.

Private school (частная школа) - школа, предоставляющая образование, за которое непосредственно платят родители детей.

Public school – (общественная школа) - 1. в Великобритании дорогая частная школа, где студенты обычно живут, и учатся. 2. В США школа, которая находится под контролем и оплачивается государственными налогами.

Elective subject (предмет на выбор) - курс обучения, который вы выбрали вместо того, на котором вы должны были учиться.

Semester (семестр) - один из двух периодов длительностью около 18 недель, на которые учебный год делится в некоторых странах, например, в США.

Report card - (журнал успеваемости) - документ, написанный учителем, содержащий информацию о прогрессе студента в школе.

А, В, С - оценки, данные для оценки работ студента, их качества: отлично(А), хорошо (B), или средне (С).
