За-и-против эссе - это эссе, в которых обсуждаются преимущества и недостатки (или «за и против») на тему проблемы. Они состоят из:

За-и-против эссе написаны в формальном, безличном стиле, избегая неформального языка (коротких форм, разговорного языка и т.д).

Вы можете начать и закончить за-против эссе любым из следующих способов.

• Обратитесь непосредственно к читателю, например: Мы все знаем, какое это разочарование - быть не в состоянии понять местных жителей, когда мы уезжаем за границу.

• Включить цитату, например: Как сказал Гёте: "Те, кто не знает ничего об иностранных языках, ничего не знают о своих собственных."

• Включить риторический вопрос, например: Как вы думаете, это интересно – снимать на камеру вашу личную жизнь 24 часа в сутки?

Работайте в парах. Перечислите преимущества изучения иностранного языка в школе. Ваш сосед перечисляет недостатки.

It is fun to learn another language. It is very useful when travelling. It can be useful in future career.

disadvantages:

Some students may find it difficult enough to learn their own language! Students may feel embarrassed to speak in another tongue.

Students should learn foreign languages in a more natural environment - not in the classroom
