The bustling streets of Bangkok attacked my senses. There was a constant buzz of noise - car horns beeping, people shouting, loud music playing - and a mad mix of smells in the air. Car exhaust fumes blended with the delicious aromas from street vendor stalls. People were busy. It seemed that few walked calmly. When I stopped in the middle of it all and bent my head back to look up, I saw a skyline of amazingly tall buildings reach far into the blue sky.

Оживленные улицы Бангкока задели мои чувства. Стоял постоянный гул и шум - автомобильные звуковые сигналы, люди кричали, громко играет музыка - и безумная смесь запахов в воздухе. Выхлопные газы автомобилей смешиваются с вкусными ароматами от уличных ларьков и палаток. Люди были заняты. Казалось, что мало кто шел спокойно. Когда я остановился посреди всего этого и повернул мою голову назад, чтобы посмотреть, я увидел горизонт удивительно высоких зданий, которые уходят в голубое небо.
