FACING EXTINCTION
At a meeting in St Petersburg, Russia, last month, wildlife experts 1) discussed the problems facing the wild tiger in Asia. Over the past several months, they 2) have carried out research that shows that the wild tiger is on the verge of extinction. At the moment, the number of tigers 3) is declining rapidly, with less than 4,000 now living in the wild. Environmentalists 4) have been attempting to prevent the tiger from becoming extinct in the wild by 5) introducing a preservation program in all the areas of the world the tiger inhabits. A NEW HOME?
There’s no shortage of people these days who believe that 1) global warming could lead to the eventual 2) destruction of our planet. Flavours from the East
There are few things in life as enjoyable and interesting as trying 1) out new foods.
