Константин Бранкузи (1876-1957) - румынский скульптор, который был одним из лидеров современного движения, а затем одним из первых использовал абстракцию. Его скульптура отличается своей элегантностью и грамотным использованием материала. Она сочетает в себе изысканность авангарда и непосредственность крестьянской резьбы.

Минимализм - искусство движения, которое началось в Нью-Йорке в 1960-х годах. Простые формы и безличный стиль характерны для минималистских скульптур.
