AN ENGLISH TEACHER OF MY DREAMS

1 Do you think that only teachers discuss their students? If it is so, you are doing a great mistake.

2 We also discuss our teachers and recently we have gone to an agreement about what an ideal teacher is.

3 First, who counts is the teacher’s proficiency. She must be more fluent than we are.

4 Besides she must be good-rounded and intelligent.

5 Second, she must understand us and except us as we are without grumbling.

6 She must be able to give us a good advice and help us to broaden our minds.

7 A good teacher prefers encouraging to discouraging. She loves doing jokes in class and makes us feel that the English language is easy to learn.

8 She understands that students hate corrected while speaking

9 because they are easy confused. It is much better to explain the mistakes later on.

10 We have agreed that she shouldn’t be inpatient with those of us who find concentration difficult or who are slower than the others. task
