1. There are three principal chronological and geographic groups of Russian dialects. The first one is central Russian that includes Ladoga-Tikhvin, Vologda, Kostroma dialects. To the north of this zone is a zone of the northern dialect and on the south Southern Russian dominates. Interestingly, central Russian dialects, especially in Moscow, formed the basis of the Russian literary language

Jargon is usually expressive and may be difficult to understand though it is created for the simplification of speech
