1. I live in a residential area of the city. No, it is not an industrial area. In the country not far from my city people grow different vegetables and fruit in summer and autumn, for example, tomatoes, cucumbers, apples, onions, and carrots.

2. In the place where I live the climate is continental: summers are warm and winters are long and cold. The average temperature in July is twenty degrees above zero. The average temperature in January is five degrees below zero. It doesn’t rain very often, but in winter there is a lot of snow.

3. The population of my city is over a hundred thousand people.

4. Yes, there are a few big cities near my home. You must drive or use public transport to get there. Some people work in big cities while other people just travel there to do shopping or meet with friends.
